Day 3

Familiar area
Mileage 33 miles. Biscarosse to Arcachon Total mileage 130 miles 208 k Sunny and warm day. This area is meant to be flat, the cycle path seems to find  all the hills. But we still decided to camp on top of the hill in Arcachon.  Hardly saw any signs for Velodessey today, the signage can vary such a lot.

  1. Sounds as though you're hurtling up that coastline at a Tour de France speed! Too bad the pizzeria in Leon was closed - typical! We'll have to make it back for another try together. If you're intending to get close to La Rochelle, we've got another great one for you which will certainly be open! I'm sure you'll find more and more things opening up this week before France starts to holiday on July 1st. Envious of that warm sunshine - still eluding us here! Bonne journee! j&M

  3. If the sun is shining at La Palmyre you're next to one of the most gorgeous beaches in France - La Grande Cote or in Frost speak its called burn your bottom beach! We spent six years camping there until le grand storm devastatedd the pine forest and we headed south. Morgan learnt to ride onthe miles and miles of cycle tracks throuh the forest there... Ah happy memories
